Megan Sheesley Successfully Defends Thesis

On Friday, November 5, 2010 Megan Sheesley successfully defended her MA thesis titled: A GILDED MOMENT: THEODORE ROOSEVELT’S 1902 VISIT TO PITTSBURGH AND ITS REPRESENTATION OF AMERICA AT THE TIME.  In her work, Megan chronicled both preparation for and visit of President Theodore Roosevelt to Pittsburgh on the Fourth of July, 1902.  Her committee included Dr. Werner Lippert, Dr. Gary Bailey, and was chaired by Dr. Jeanine Mazak-Kahne.
